Rome, Italy

July 2018

Rome is an ancient city with a modern twist, instantly giving you the feeling of nostalgia .  It is full of ancient ruins like the Colosseum, which is a real eye opener to see it up close and personal.  The Colosseum has been a huge part of Rome's history for over 28 centuries.  I was shocked by the amount of different ethnicity and cultures with one city. Rome has tons of restaurants with authentic Italian food made with fresh pasta (salivating picture below)  that is paired perfectly with a cold glass of Prosecco.  The street vendors near the Roma Termini Railway Station have very reasonable prices and are willing to negotiate. I used a Hop on Hop off Buss to tour the city costing $33.54.
